Lizzy Myers is a 5th generation seamstress who has a passion for design and unique style. She birthed her business ShabbyKnapsack 16 years ago after moving to Portland Oregon. There she found an outlet for her up-cycled art form that she had already been practicing for much of her life, the Portland Saturday Market. From there, she has spent all of her time pouring herself into her two greatest things in life that drive her. Her business, ShabbyKnaspack, and her crazy large-ish family (yes, she and her husband have 6 kids). Her 20-year-old and eldest daughter, Aurora, joined her many years ago sewing and designing alongside her and has only recently become a partner in the business. Her personal journey began with a near-death experience (NDE) at the age of twenty-one, which brought home two irrefutable points; life is all about you and your choices, and the effects your choices have on your health and well-being.

 

From the moment she realized that she was “Alive,” Wendy has dedicated her life to gaining and sharing knowledge on the importance of developing one’s personal empowerment, through utilizing the power of one’s conscious awareness of choice to create the life desired.

 

Dr. Wendy hosts an inspirational and informative podcast called “You and The Laws of Attraction” available on Spreaker, Spotify, iTunes, iHeart, Google, YouTube, and many other podcast platforms.

 

She holds two doctorates in her field of study; Metaphysics and Holistic Life Coaching. She is a master European trained classical aromatherapist and reflexologist. And the author of “Green Is 4 Life: A Simple Guide To Creating Healthy Life-Giving Green Smoothies. She writes a monthly blog, the laws of attraction in action and food beyond its nutrition. And lectures on the power of choice and the Laws of Attraction.

 

Dr. Dearborne lives in the Las Vegas Valley with her husband and is currently working on her second book about Choice: The First Universal Law.

He was introduced into the world of fashion by legendary hairstylist Harry King & hair historian Helen Oppenheim, whom he met while shooting at a fashion event. In 2014 he started shooting assignments covering beauty and the experience backstage at New York Fashion Week at shows including Marchesa, Vera Wang, Libertine, Jerome 5.31, Nicopanda, Jill Stuart, and Leanne Marshall. He has championed and adopted the photo series #BlackModelsMatter -- covering models of color backstage and celebrating the community and range of beauty in all shapes, cultures, and skin tones but especially focused on black, Latinx, trans, and gender-nonconforming models.
