Join us as we interview Mark J. Parker. Mark is a filmmaker, casting director, acting & media coach, podcaster, writer, digital content creator, and SAG-AFTRA performer. After living in New York for 14 years, he moved to Maine full-time in 2020.
His voice is heard on podcasts "Release Date Rewind", "Clocktower Players Jubilee Podcast Theater", "interACT Audio Productions", and "Add This To Your List".
His latest short film "Twin" is on the 2021-2022 festival circuit, while his other recent short "Family History" has wrapped its year-long festival run and will stream publicly soon, and previous short "Sticks" can be rented on Prime or streamed on YouTube and Vimeo.
Mark cast 7 seasons of the popular hidden camera series "What Would You Do?" at ABC in New York, along with other TV & streaming projects at the network, as well as independent films and pilots, including "Lords of Satan" and "Kings & Queens" recently in Maine.
He has worked on films and TV shows for over 15 years, from the broadcast series "30 Rock" and "Ugly Betty" to the cable series "Celebrity Ghost Stories" and talk shows "Live! With Regis & Kelly" and "Wendy Williams".
He's taught acting, filmmaking, screenwriting, and hosting/podcasting classes both online and in-person since 2017, and started creating digital content for the Ogunquit Playhouse in spring 2021.
He graduated from Fordham University and received a certificate in Producing from NYU’s School of Professional Studies.
